To realize the JAPAN-ASEAN BRIDGES series the Vienna-based International Peace Foundation cooperates with various organizations, institutions and enterprises in ASEAN countries.
The foundation has not opened branches or offices in these countries, but facilitates and hosts the BRIDGES events together with local partners being the organizers of the events.
In doing so, the International Peace Foundation acts as a pool offering its network of organizations, Nobel Laureates, artists and leaders in all parts of society to support peace and education projects of local institutions and enterprises with contacts and knowledge.

It sensitizes a broad national and international public for the work of these local institutions and helps to enable further synergies as an independent facilitator.
To reach different target groups for the BRIDGES events, the International Peace Foundation cooperates with a variety of actors.

To realize the BRIDGES program a delegation of the International Peace Foundation headed by the foundation’s chairman Mr. Uwe Morawetz has since 2006 met/is scheduled to meet with the following personages, among others, to discuss a concrete cooperation in co-hosting the events with Nobel Laureates and other keynote speakers and artists in
